In collaboration with Naomi Natale and One Million Bones, in which "one million bones...each representing a call to action against ongoing genocide and mass atrocities...were crafted by students, educators, artists, and activists from around the world, and were laid out" on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. June 8-10, 2013. In addition to making salt dough bones with the kids, we hosted a Houston Bonemaking party at labotanica. We made skulls from recycled milk jugs, as well as bones from soap, wax, flowers, plastic bags, paper towel tubes, and newspapers.
