Stage Exchange

was an attempt to exchange messages across stages of life

2010

I was a message exchange toothfairy who failed at accupuncture, installing rods and earnest expectations at even intervals within the Houston's 610 loop.

Driving across Houston like a confessional mailman, checking my boxes.
Seeing which survived, were taken, weathered, had any sign of anyone taking notice of them, seeing if anyone added a stage I didn’t even write myself, the author of the project: Losing Someone

The boxes didn’t yield, but my time with Ayanna Jolivet McCloud’s labotanica School of Latitudes, which incubated this, did in many ways. This became a protoype for Hear Our Houston and Washing Water.
